It appeared in my cbox one statement that is quite interesting for me to think and talk about. Its just a quote, "Without evil, there will be no progress". Not anything else, just zoom in to this quote. Is it true without evil, there will be no progress?

Is war considered evil and bad? Yes it is. No one can justify that as a no as many good men die in war and the economy goes down terribly during wars. So, WW2 indirectly lead to the discovery of the usage of uranium 235 and uranium 238 which is used as a catalyst to end the war. (technically not true as Japanese wanted to surrender before the US could drop their big bombs but the US disagreed to their terms most probably due to the fact that a lot of money was put into the making of the bombs and it will make Truman emo if he does not used it[much more politics were involved but im trying not to be so nerd here, not that im one lol] ). Nuclear power is indeed a discovery from an evil and it does benefit humans now as a form of energy that can power half of the states.

However, progress can be made even without any evil. Progress operates the same way as the market, when there is demand, there will be supply. So, when a certain thing calls for a advancement in Science, there will be someone there to give a breakthrough to it. For example, the discovery of vaccinations. Its for the needs of people and not for any evil. Opps gtg. Cont nxt post.
